Interviews on BBC Radio Newcastle, Metroradio, and articles in The Journal, Daily Express, The Sun and The Star.

Well it's been a mad few days. We gave an interview to The Journal in Newcastle and got a pic taken, next thing we know we have 2 radio interviews and appear in 3 national newspapers! However, The Sun and Daily Express have decided to write their stories based on their imaginations, and claimed that teams in the North East are refusing to play us! I suppose they only have limited intelligence so have to write stories about the puns they can come up with ('only gays in the scrummage', 'gay team gets ruggered' and 'match of the gay' -to name a few), but actually the articles were far from the truth. To set the record straight, we want to make clear that we have had a fantastic response from local teams in the North East, especially the Novos and West End RFC who have kindly invited us to their training sessions and let us use their facilities. We look forward to continue training, playing and socialising with the many teams in and around Newcastle from the start of next season.
