Rugby's great. You get to chase after guys, wrestle them to the ground and roll around in the mud. But you can't just turn up and expect to be great (well, unless you actually are great). No, you'll need to come to training. Our sessions run throughout the season at the Novos ground and all are welcome. They are designed to allow new players to turn up at any point of the season. Initially you just need sports kit, but after a few sessions you may want to invest in boots and a gum shield.
This season we'll be running one session a week:
Everyone is expected to turn up for the one session per week as often as possible. We'll be doing all the usual drills, alongside some new excercises. New players will be encouraged to watch and learn, and to join in when they feel ready to take part. The session will start at 7:30 prompt, so get there earlier to change if you need to.
If you don't already know everything, you can brush up on your rugby knowledge by reading about the basics. Or, for even more information, you can visit the BBC Sports Academy website.
The Novos ground is just a short walk from Four Lane Ends Metro. As you walk out of the metro station turn left, then cross over at the main road. Keep going straight, you will pass some shops on your right, and you take the second road on your right, called The Drive. You walk to the end of The Drive and you will see the rugby ground on your left.

Any problems, send us a message.
Start hanging round with us for long enough and we'll start asking you for subs. These are important for players as they include you on our RFU insurance and they are important for the club as they allow us to continue to use the Novos' grounds and facilities. They pay for match-day food and transport too, so it's generally quite a good deal.
Pay for a year in advance and the cost is £85.
Pay monthly and the cost is £8 per month (£96 per year).
